Honestly, I did have cravings for this one so I did tell myself that I must do this not just for me to satisfy my taste buds but for my kiddos as well.
Fish Fillet w/ White Sauce
It's soooo easy to make because you only need to buy Fish Fillet and the Tempura mix and that's it! Haha! Check out below for more details about the Ingredients and how to make the white sauce. Maybe, we'll try barbecue sauce next time for this. You may also serve potato wedges. The kids will love it. Happy Eating!
Ingredients:
500g White Fish Fillet (we choose Cream Dory)
1 box Tempura mix
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Oil for deep frying
For the White Sauce:
1 pack Nestle Cream
1 cup Milk
2 tbsp. Butter
2 tbsp. Flour
broth cubes
Salt & Pepper to taste
Procedure:
1. Clean fish fillet. Slice into strips. Season fish with salt and pepper; set aside.
2. Prepare tempura batter according to package directions, making sure that the batter stays cold.
3. Heat oil in a pan. Deep fish in tempura batter, then deep fry in batches. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes or until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
For the White Sauce:
1. In a saucepan, stir in butter, Nestle Cream, Milk and broth cubes . Mix together until broth cubes is completely melt.
2. Mix the flour in a 1/4 cup of water. Stir in the mixture.
3. Salt and Pepper to taste.
